Live online cohort · 4 weeks
Humans
v Robots
Our 4-week live cohort where you build a real, working AI tool for the job you already do. It's hands-on, it's coached 1:1, and you finish with something you actually use.
Learn AI. Build Robots. Stay Human.
What's included
What's included in Humans v Robots?
This isn't a video library you'll never finish. It's a room with your name on it, a coach who knows your project, and a date on the calendar when you show what you built.
Four live sessions
Two hours each, one per week. Week 1 orients you and gets a first win. Weeks 2 and 3 are build sessions. Week 4 is Demo Day.
1:1 founder coaching
You're never stuck alone. When your build hits a wall, a Silicon Valley founder who has shipped real products sits with you and gets you moving.
Project selection help
The most common failure in AI training is picking the wrong first project. We help every builder choose one that's useful, buildable, and worth demoing.
Async support all month
Questions don't wait for the next call. Post your blocker, get unblocked, keep building through the week.
Demo Day
Week 4, every builder shows a working tool to the room. It's amazing what people finish when someone's expecting to see it.
A method you keep
The cohort ends, the skill doesn't. You leave knowing how to turn any repetitive job into a tool, on your own, every month after.
Live —
Together!
Course fatigue? Us too. You've watched the videos, saved the prompts, and still haven't built anything you actually use. Watching isn't building.
In our sessions you build on your real work, with a coach looking at your screen. When a whole team goes through it together, they end up sharing the same language and the same problems, so they start amplifying each other.
that's the whole point
53 seconds of Demo Day. This is week 4.
In their own words
What people say about Humans v Robots:
"As soon as we started the cohort, it was like a new door opened. And I can actually build these things. And it's plain English... it builds the system for you."
Dine-Mari · scared of code before session one
"It is going to save me basically six hours per campaign. And right now I am doing six campaigns a month. So that is like 35 hours of work saved, essentially."
Kandice Vincent · marketer, live on Demo Day
"So David, what you did, someone six months ago quoted me $20,000 to make that."
Ginger Gentile · owner, watching her team member demo
"I came into this with like zero experience... I'm going to be off to the races."
Stu Gildred · Lotus Rooftop, on Demo Day
A Decade in Silicon Valley,
Turned Into 4 Weeks of Building
Four sessions. Two hours each. Async support runs the whole month, so nobody sits stuck between them.
Week 1 of 4 • 2 hours live
Orientation & Your First Win
Week one is about arriving, meeting the room, and getting something working before you log off.
What to expect:
- Learn the build method we use for every tool
- Choose your project with our help, one that's useful and buildable
- Ship a small first win before the session ends
- Set up your build environment so week 2 starts fast
Week 2 of 4 • 2 hours live
Build Session One
Heads down on the core of your tool, with coaches circulating the whole time.
What you'll do:
- Build the core of your tool during the session
- Get live 1:1 coaching from Silicon Valley founders when you hit a wall
- See how other builders solve their problems, and steal what works
Week 3 of 4 • 2 hours live
Build Session Two
The gap between "it runs" and "I use this every day" is where week 3 lives.
What you'll do:
- Push your tool from working to genuinely useful
- Handle the rough edges: real data, real users, real workflow
- Get your demo ready with coaching on what to show
Week 4 of 4 • 2 hours live
Demo Day
You present the thing you built. Everybody does. Nobody watches from the back.
What happens:
- Every builder demos a working tool to the room
- Celebrate the wins and capture what each tool saves
- Leave with the method, so this month's tool is the first of many
Small Rooms,
On Purpose.
Cohorts stay small so the 1:1 coaching stays real. When a coach can't get to everyone in a session, the guarantee stops meaning anything. So we cap the room instead.

The Fluency Ladder
Everyone lands somewhere on the same four rungs: Exploring, Adopting, Operating, Multiplying. Knowing which rung you're on is what makes the next step obvious instead of overwhelming.
Take the free AI Fluency Assessment, under 15 minutes, and you'll know where you stand before you spend a dollar.
Take the free assessmentYou've tried a chatbot. You know this matters. You have no idea what to actually build.
You use AI most days for drafting and thinking. Nothing you've made outlives the conversation.
You've built something real that you use. You want to do it repeatably, not by accident.
You build tools other people depend on. Now you're teaching your team to do the same.

Two doors
Who's this cohort for?
Both doors lead to the same room and the same guarantee. The difference is who you walk in with.
Door 1 · Open cohort
You, joining on your own
Pick a start date, book your seat, show up. You build your own tool alongside builders from all over the world. Complete on its own, nothing held back.
Best if you're an individual professional, or one person testing this before the rest of the team follows.
$450
per seat, one builder, one working tool
Scholarship pricing available.

Alex Salinsky
Founder
Alex spent more than a decade in Silicon Valley and worked with 100+ startups. He kept seeing the same pattern: the teams that win aren't the ones with the most engineers, they're the ones where regular people can turn their own ideas into working tools. The method comes from that decade.
The founder-coach bench
Facilitators & Silicon Valley founders
A team of facilitators and Silicon Valley founder coaches runs the cohorts alongside Alex. That's how every builder gets real 1:1 time no matter how many people are in the room, and it's why we can promise a working tool rather than hope for one.

The real product
Build one tool in one month. Then build any tool you want, every month after.
That's the thing worth paying for. Not the first tool, the ability to make the next one. One good tool often pays for the whole cohort.

FAQ
Questions we hear on every call
What does it cost?+
An open cohort seat is $450 per person. That's one builder, four live sessions, 1:1 coaching, async support all month, and Demo Day. Scholarship pricing is available, so ask if the number is the only thing in your way.
A private team cohort starts at $8,000 and scales with team size. That gets your team its own dedicated room, built around your actual business. We work out the exact number on a 20-minute fit call.
What is scholarship pricing?+
If $450 is genuinely the thing standing between you and building your first tool, tell us. We hold seats back for people the cohort should reach regardless of what they can pay right now. No long application, just a conversation.
My team has zero technical background. Will this work?+
That's the profile we built this for. Dine-Mari was scared of code before session one. Bryce's team member Kate was, in his words, the most tech-illiterate person on the team, and she shipped something he called pretty awesome. The tools build in plain English, and coaches sit with you 1:1 when you get stuck.
What if someone can't finish their tool?+
Then we build it for them. Every participant ends the cohort with at least one working AI-powered tool. That's the guarantee, and it's why the fit call matters: we make sure the project is one we can stand behind.
What if we don't know what to build?+
Good, that's normal. Picking the project is the first thing we figure out together in week one: we help every builder find a task from their own week that's worth automating. Nobody needs to arrive with an idea.
How much time does it take each week?+
One 2-hour live session per week for 4 weeks. Most of the building happens inside the sessions. Between sessions, builders who want to push further get async support whenever they need it.
Should we do a private cohort or join the open one?+
The open cohort is complete on its own and great for individuals or a single teammate testing the water. A private cohort is a whole team building together: everyone shares the same language and the same problems, so they amplify each other and come out an AI-empowered team. The fit call sorts this out in 20 minutes.
